Contest Basics

GoBlam contests are skill-based Counter-Strike 2 esports contests where Customers compete by gameplay performance under the rules shown before entry.

Each contest page publishes its title, game, region, scheduled start time, visibility window, registration window, minimum registrations, maximum registrations, entry fees, prize pool, prize distribution, and key format settings.

A contest may be free to enter or may require one or more entry fees. A contest may require you to hold enough eligible tickets before registration and may require eligibility checks before registration, launch, prize award, or Prize Payout.

Registration

Registration is valid only after you complete all required account, Steam, eligibility, country, verification, and payment steps. A registration is not guaranteed until GoBlam confirms it.

  • Registration may close when the contest reaches its configured start time, maximum registration count, state limit, or operator cutoff.
  • A contest may fail to launch if it does not reach the minimum registration count.
  • GoBlam may reject or remove registrations for ineligible accounts, duplicate accounts, payment failure, support action, integrity concerns, or legal restrictions.
  • Refund and reversal rules for cancelled, postponed, failed, or invalid contests are handled under these Contest Rules, the Payment and Payout Terms, and any contest-specific rules.

Format And Match Flow

The contest page explains how Customers start, how rounds progress, how elimination works, how any breaks work, and how finalization occurs. Contest formats may use starting contest balances, round commitments, eliminations, revives, live leaderboard updates, and final standings.

The posted format defines when a Customer is active, eliminated, revived, finalized, disqualified, or awarded. If bots, substitutions, rematches, pauses, restarts, or abandoned matches are supported for a contest, the contest page or operator notice explains how those situations are handled.

Joining, Disconnections, And Late Arrival

You are responsible for joining the correct game server, Steam account, and live match in time. GoBlam may provide server information, launch links, or live companion tools, but you remain responsible for your device, client, network, and Steam access.

  • If you disconnect, fail to join, join late, leave early, or cannot connect, the contest may continue without you unless the contest-specific rules or operator decision provide a remedy.
  • Platform faults, game-server faults, third-party faults, network faults, Customer faults, and force majeure may have different remedies.
  • Contact support promptly with evidence if you believe a material contest error affected you.

Level Adjustment And Ratings

GoBlam may use skill ratings, historical performance, team balancing, or level-adjusted mechanics to keep contests competitive. Rating and level-adjustment rules may be described at a high level without revealing exploitable implementation details.

GoBlam may update ratings after contests based on verified final standings and gameplay data. GoBlam may correct ratings, standings, or prize outcomes if data is missing, corrupted, fraudulent, duplicated, or materially wrong.

Customers must not manipulate ratings, create weak accounts, intentionally underperform, or coordinate behavior to gain an unfair level-adjustment advantage.

Live Contest Actions

A contest may offer paid or free live actions when those actions are configured and available. Live actions may include contest-specific effects such as restoring eligibility, using an extra life, or another action shown before purchase.

  • The live action screen shows the action, price, currency, timing window, effect, and limits before purchase.
  • A live action applies only to the specific live match and Customer for which it was prepared.
  • A live action may fail or be rejected if you are ineligible, the contest state changes, the match changes, the window closes, payment fails, or technical delivery fails.
  • Live action fees may or may not contribute to the prize pool depending on the contest configuration shown before entry or purchase.

Scoring, Leaderboards, And Results

Results are based on verified CS2 runtime data, contest state, leaderboard data, eliminations, ratings, and configured prize rules. GoBlam may use automated systems and manual review to verify results.

Provisional leaderboards are not final prize results. GoBlam may correct obvious errors, missing events, duplicated events, server faults, or integrity issues before finalization. Final results may still be reopened where fraud, cheating, payment reversal, legal compulsion, or serious technical error is discovered.

Prize Pools And Awards

Prize pools distinguish minimum guaranteed amounts, collected amounts, and amounts contributed by configured fee types. Prize distribution states which final positions or outcomes receive awards.

Prize awards are credited only after contest finalization and required compliance checks. Prize awards may be withheld, reversed, or reallocated if a Customer is disqualified, later found ineligible, or linked to payment reversal, fraud, or serious technical error.

Prize Payouts are separate from prize awards and may require additional payout checks under the Payment and Payout Terms.

Technical Failures And Operator Remedies

GoBlam may pause, restart, cancel, postpone, settle, replay, or otherwise remedy a contest after serious technical failures, integrity issues, safety issues, legal concerns, or provider failures.

Where practical, GoBlam will apply the remedy model shown for the contest or the relevant failure type. If an unlisted failure occurs, GoBlam may choose a reasonable remedy to protect fair competition, customer expectations, and platform integrity.

Operator Authority

GoBlam may make integrity, eligibility, scoring, payout, and technical decisions needed to protect fair competition. Operator decisions are reasoned, documented internally, and reviewable through support where appropriate.

GoBlam may take emergency action to stop harmful, unlawful, exploitative, or unfair activity immediately. GoBlam applies published principles consistently and maintains internal audit logs for contest changes, result changes, and prize-affecting decisions.
